This dip works well in the small crock pots that will keep the cheese melted at a low temperature. If you don't have the small crock pot, you can take it to the microwave for a quick re-warm. It's fast, easy and is always a hit with friends!
Chili Conqueso
Ingredients
- 1 diced medium onion
- 1 small can diced ortega chili
- 1 1-lb can diced tomatoes
- 1 1-lb. velveeta cheese cut up in 1-inch cubes
- 1 bag tortilla chips
Directions
- Saute onion in 2-3 T. butter
- Add diced chilis
- Drain liquid from tomatoes and add tomatoes to mixture
- Add cubes of cheese and cook until cheese is melted
