This is a great grown-up tasting pizza.
Apple Truffle & Roasted Garlic Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 prepared pizza crust (available in groceries dry and refrigerated shelves) for every 2 people
- Heavy duty tin foil
- Truffle Oil
- Roasted Garlic (packaged or fresh)
- Fresh sage or dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 apple per pizza
- Gorgonzola cheese
- Italian cheese blend
- Pine nuts
- Optional: Red pepper flakes
Directions
- Place crusts on tin foil
- Brush pizza crusts with truffle oil
- Squeeze several cloves of garlic over the crust and spread evenly
- Slice apples thinly and place on the pizza in a single layer
- Sprinkle with fresh sage or Italian seasonings
- Cover with Gorgonzola and Italian cheese blend
- Sprinkle with pine nuts
- Place pizza on the tin foil directly on the grill or grate
- Cook until cheese bubbles and browns
- Be careful no to burn the bottom of the crust
