Hot Buttered Rum Recipe
Ingredients
- 6 oz light rum
- 6 tsp sugar
- 3 tsp butter
- 24 cloves
- pinch of nutmeg
- 6 cinnamon sticks
- star anise
Directions
Add the sugar, butter and cloves to a coffee mug. Pour the rum and stir well. Fill with boiling water. Stir again, sprinkle with nutmeg and serve with a cinnamon stick and if desired float a star anise pod.
