Citrus Brined Turkey

Citrus Brined Turkey

Brining a Turkey is a great way to impart flavor and keep the turkey moist when smoked or cooked on a grill.  Remember to brine the turkey several days in advance.  The best way to do this is to place the turkey and the brine in a food safe trash bag and keep your turkey in a cooler with ice.

White Sangria

I love sangria and this one is especially unusual.  Try different fruit combinations or mixing white wine with a sweeter white zinfandel.  This is a definite make in advance recipe.  You need time for the syrup to chill before blending with the wine.  I make mins a day in advance and let the flavors marry.
